The world most expensive footballer threw caution to the wind when he lashed out at a reporter in PSG’s press conference after their 7-1 victory over Celtic.
The reporters began the taunting, when they asked if the match reminded him of Germany’s 7-1 victory over Brazil in the 2014 World Cup semi-final.
An obviously angered Neymar responded by saying “There you go again, remembering that day. This is just going to go on and on, you’ll never stop. I’m happy with tonight’s game and getting a win and that’s the most important thing, independently of the result. The team imposed a strong rhythm right after scoring the first goal. We kept our head even after Celtic pulled a goal back.”
His intelligent response to the provocative question was not enough to deter the determined reporters and their next question was more than enough to get a news worthy response from him.
Neymar snapped when one reporter raised the topic of a potential move to Real Madrid.The Brazil international responded by saying “For fuck’s sake, have you got nothing else to talk about?” before he stormed out of the conference.
