The Red Devils maintained their perfect Champions league record when they defeated Benfica on Wednesday night in their Champions league group stage match.
After conceding 5 goals in their last Champions league match, Benfica tried everything possible to maintain a clean sheet on Wednesday night as their four-man defense team rounded up the visitors attack fleet in a surprising but successful manner.
But their “brick wall” defense eventually gave way in the 64th minute when United’s winger Marcus Rashford weaved his way through the defense to deliver a perfect finishing touch.
Benfica currently sit at the bottom of their Group A table with no point in three games, while Manchester United lead the pack with three wins in three games.
