Ghana’s boxing sensation, Ayittey Powers, might currently be on the verge of losing his license after he literally assaulted a popular comedian, Baba Spirit on live television.
In what started like a mild misunderstanding, an enraged Ayittey Powers suddenly launched an all-out assault at the lanky comedian in a manner that might have been fatal, if Ayittey was not swiftly appeased by the cameramen.
Ayittey Powers was a guest on a show hosted by popular TV personality, Sokoohemaa. Baba Spirit was also invited to the show as co-guest, but the long-standing tension between the two men got the best of them, as Ayittey seemed un-bothered by the fact that he was on live TV when he launched his surprise attack.
The misunderstanding between the two men date back to July 2017, when Baba Spirit mocked Ayittey Powers in the studios of an Accra-based radio station, after the latter suffered a heavy defeat to Bukom Banku. Baba Spirit went on to say that he could easily beat Powers too.
