Africans, world, and Nigerian celebrities have all reacted to Super Eagles’ first 2018 World Cup win.
Ahmed Musa scored both goals as Nigeria defeated debutants Iceland 2-0 in their second Group D game in Volgograd. Iceland’s Gylfi Sigurdsson missed their best chance – a penalty he fired over – in the game that see Musa become Nigeria’s highest goalscorer at the World Cup with four.
Popular comedian Eddie Kadi, English rapper Skepta,Common, Ghanaian actress Joselyn Dumas, and dancehall musician Shatta Wale, have joined Nigeria celebrates from music, movies, politics and sports to celebrate the remarkable win in Russia.
