Long-standing Tennis giant, Serena Williams is set to make her highly-anticipated return to Grand Slam tennis on Tuesday with a French Open first-round tie against Kristyna Pliskova on Court Philippe Chatrier.
Serena has endured a tough return to tennis after taking almost a year off to give birth to her daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian.
Serena last featured in a major tournament in a victorious 2017 Australian Open campaign. She has crashed to 453 in the world due to her poor return morale. The 36-year-old tennis star briefly returned for the American hardcourt season, but suffered early losses to sister Venus and Naomi Osaka in Indian Wells and Miami respectively. Her match against Kristyna is scheduled to start at 2:05pm.
