The Perfect Start! Unai Emery Pays Tribute To Arsene Wenger

Unai Emery has made a classic tribute to his longstanding predecessor, Arsene Wenger for the legacy he created at Arsenal as he was unveiled as the Frenchman’s successor on Wednesday.
The Spanish tactician was confirmed as Arsenal’s new head coach on Wednesday. According to Metro, the chief executive of the club, Ivan Gazidis further revealed that Emery bested eight other candidates to the role.

Speaking in his first press conference at the Emirate stadium, Emery said: “Thank you Arsene for your legacy. For all the coaches in all the world he is a reference and I learned from all the things in football. It’s a big challenge for me but I worked also with other big projects and with me, for me, I am proud to be here and to work after Arsene Wenger.”
Wenger ended his 22-year working relationship with Arsenal after the club failed to win any trophy in the 2017/18 season.
