The Super Eagles of Nigeria have been rated as the 23rd most likely team to win the 2018 World Cup in Russia this year by The Mirror’s team of media analyst.
The Super Eagles sealed their spot in the World cup this year after defeating Zambia in the qualifiers towards the end of last year.
Nigeria’s Group D opponents at the 2018 World Cup, Argentina, Iceland and Croatia were all ranked ahead of the African giants as more likely teams to win the trophy.
Argentina are ranked at number four, Croatia was placed at number 12, while Iceland were placed just ahead of the Super Eagles at the 22nd spot.
