South Korea 2-0 Germany: Defending Champions Crash-out In Shame

History literally repeated itself on Wednesday, as Joachim Low’s German machines crashed out of the 2018 FIFA world cup, after losing their final group stage match of the tournament.

Tottenham’s Heung-Min Son delivered the final nail to Germany‘s world cup coffin, after Young-Gwon Kim scored the opening goal of the match in the 90th minute.

Despite the heroic win, South Korea also crashed out of the tournament, as they ended their world cup campaign with three points – same as Germany – while Sweden and Mexico moved to the knockout stage with six point each.
Germany towed the path of Italy and Spain, as the world cup winners also recorded a devastating run after winning the world cup in 2006 and 2010 respectively.
