Prof. Richard Akindele, the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, lecturer that was accused of demanding sex for marks from a student, Monica Osagie, to upgrade her mark, has been sacked. the management of the institution revealed the news. 
Eyitope Ogunbodede, the institution’s Vice-Chancellor, announced the sacking at a press conference in Ile-Ife today. Ogunbodede said the Governing Council of the institution sacked the lecturer, “having found him guilty of all the charges against him.”
