Actress Jessica Falkholt has had her life support switched off one day after the funeral for three members of her family killed in an horrific Boxing Day crash, according to media reports. Jessica, 28, had been in a critical condition at St George Hospital, New South Wales, after she was badly injured in the same horror smash on Princes Highway.
Media reports indicate that the life support was switched off one day after the funeral for her sister Annabelle, 21, and parents Lars, 69, and Vivian, 60.
Craig Whitall, 50, the driver of the other car involved who crashed into the Falkholt’s family car, also died in the crash, had previously had a nine-year driving ban and at least 10 convictions for driving while disqualified. Jessica’s parents Lars, 69 and Vivian, 60 died instantly at the scene, but her younger sister Annabelle, 21, died three days later.
Ms Falkholt’s heartbroken relatives had kept a vigil beside her hospital bed hoping for a speedy recovery. Officers could not confirm if Whitall, who also died at the scene, had been using his mobile phone at the time of the crash and the remains of those killed in the crash were so badly burned, they had to be identified by their dental records.Photo Credit: Getty
