Mauro Icardi Left Out Of Argentina’s 23-Man World Cup Squad

Icardi signs to PSG


Inter Milan striker, Mauro Icardi, was not included in Argentina’s 23-man squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
In-spite of Icardi’s impressive season, that eventually ended in an Europa league spot for Inter, the 25-year-old front-man was left out for the likes of Paulo Dybala and Gonzalo Higuain.
Manchester United goalie, Sergio Romero, will also be heading to Russia with his compatriots next month, as he was selected alongside Chelsea’s Willy Caballero and Franco Armani. See Argentina’s full squad below:

Goalkeepers: Sergio Romero, Willy Caballero, Franco Armani.
Defenders: Gabriel Mercado, Cristian Ansaldi, Nicolas Otamendi, Federico Fazio, Marcos Rojo, Nicolas Tagliafico, Marcos Acuna, Eduardo Salvio.
Midfielders: Javier Mascherano, Lucas Biglia, Ever Banega, Giovani Lo Celso, Manuel Lanzini, Angel Di Maria, Maxi Meza.
Forwards: Lionel Messi, Paulo Dybala, Sergio Aguero, Gonzalo Higuain, Cristian Pavon.
