Legendary! Fernando Torres Scores A Double In His Final Match For Atletico Madrid


Spain’s sweetheart, Fernando Torres, spurred on a a very impressive performance as he captained Atletico Madrid to a 2-2 draw against Eibar on Sunday.
The explosive striker found the net twice in his final game for his boyhood club after more than 400 appearances for Los Rojiblancos.

After cancelling out Kike Garcia’s opener just before the break, Torres edged Atleti ahead on the hour, rolling back the years with a fantastic run and delicate finish. Eibar later equalized to end the match 2-2.
Torres has yet to confirm his next move but has been linked with a switch to the Chinese Super League or MLS for the latter years of his career, while a reunion with former boss Rafael Benitez at Newcastle United has also been talked about.
