Every 13th of August is set aside as World left-handers day. A school of thought generally believes that left-handers are more intelligent. Meanwhile, in Nigeria, there is a lot of superstitious belief surrounding a left-hander, they are sometimes perceived has to be rude, especially when they hand out things to an elderly person with their left hand.
Despite all the assumptions here are some scientific facts about left-handers:
- They are more likely to develop allergies.
- They use the right side of their brain more.
- They twice as likely to be male.
- They tend to be more intelligent than their counterparts.
- They are better at multitasking.
