Two randy firefighters are facing the sacked after they allegedly make and starred in their own porn film while on the job. Arthur Dean and Deann Eller are at the centre of a probe after being accused of shooting the mucky footage inside a fire station.
The raunchy clips – filmed in Ohio – were quickly uploaded to the internet and subsequently branded an “unwelcome dishonour” to the fire service. In one shot naked Eller is seen working up a sweat as she performs an X-rated gym workout. One frame sees her straddling a bench as she pumps iron.
Another clip, lasting over an hour, shows her pretending to read from a laptop off camera and reacting to comments posted about her performance. The lustful firefighters are known as “firecouple11” and their productions, that contain sex acts, are being hosted by a web cam site. The pair of Akron Fire Department firefighters are on paid leave while the investigation continues.
Akron Fire Chief Clarence Tucker said they received an anonymous tip-off about the raunchy online clips. The firefighters were placed on administrative leave immediately following the findings. It is not yet known exactly which fire station was used but it is thought the footage is being closely examined frame by frame for clues. The department said the firefighters are in a long-term relationship and were assigned to different firehouses. Art Dean is a lieutenant, and Deann Eller, a provisional lieutenant, officials said.
The couple claim through their lawyer that they produced images for a private grainy online stream that was not open to the general public and are not embarrassed by it. Their lawyer said: “Somebody illegally obtained the footage that has been shown on the news, and I think is in the possession of the city of Akron. “They’re not embarrassed about it. They’re not ashamed about it. This is something that was done between the two of them and they had certain safeguards.”
Tucker called the allegations “shocking and distressing to say the least” and said his department would take prompt disciplinary action following an internal investigation. He said: “This brings unwelcome dishonour and embarrassment to this department and this city.” He added: “I know this department and this is not who we are. As chief I will never condone or tolerate any behaviour that violates the trust the public places in us.”
