Done Deal: Manchester United’s Marouane Fellaini Agrees Contract With Galatasaray

Midfielder Marouane Fellaini is close to leaving Manchester United after agreeing the terms of a contract with Galatasaray, according to reports in Turkey.The 30-year-old’s current deal expires at the end of the season and he is currently free to negotiate with teams outside of the Premier League. Paris Saint-Germain have expressed an interest in signing Fellaini, while the midfielder has also been linked with a move to Besiktas this week. But according to Turkish newspaper Aksam, Fellaini’s representatives met with Galatasaray in January and the terms of a five-year contract have now been agreed.Fellaini is currently sidelined with a knee injury and has required surgery to fix the problem. Earlier this month, Mourinho urged the midfielder to sign a new deal before he received a full diagnosis of his injury. ‘I told him yesterday: ‘Sign the contract and shut up,” said the United manager. ‘I told him: ‘Don’t gamble too much.
