Cardi B and Offset have welcomed their first child together.
Rapper Cardi B announced on Instagram that she and Offset of Migos, have welcomed a daughter named Kulture Kiari Cephus. Offset and Cardi B got married back in September but got engaged publicly on stage during Power 99’s Powerhouse concert in Philadelphia in October 2017. In April, Cardi B announced she is canceling her upcoming performances to focus on her pregnancy. “Broccoli fest will be my last performance for a little while and everything….Because you know shorty keep growing!” Cardi B announced in a video posted on her page. “I can barely breathe right now,” she joked. “I’ve ate like six chicken wings, and I can barely breathe now.”
Cardi B is expected to make her post-pregnancy comeback for the fourth and final leg of the 24K Magic Tour with Bruno Mars beginning September 7. The 25-year-old rapper will also be sharing the stage with Nas, Miguel and Nigeria’s Davido at One MusicFest 2018 billed to take place at Central Park in New York on September 8-9.
“I don’t want to miss one second. I don’t want to miss no smiles, I don’t want to miss no new movement, I don’t want the baby to confuse me and the babysitter,” she said about motherhood in an interview with Rolling Stone.
When Offset, 26, crashed his green Dodge Challenger on May 16 in Atlanta, a pregnant Cardi B had rushed to the scene after learning about the incident, but her partner unhurt. She later tweeted, “Sooo grateful and happy today. God be giving messages in the weirdest way. I love you Offset.”
