National Assembly Orders The Nigerian Police To Vacate Peace Corps Office

The Federal House of Representatives has ordered the Nigerian Police Force to vacate the National Headquarters of Peace Corps of Nigeria within 21 days.
According to Daily Post, the Reps arrived at the decision after observing the recommendation by the House Committee on Public Petitions, which investigated hearing into the “illegal” closure of the Peace Corps headquarters.
The Peace Corps headquarters located at Iya Abubakar Crescent, off Alex Ekwueme street, opposite Jabi lake in Abuja, has been sealed by the police force since the 28th of February, shortly after the property was commissioned. The Nigerian Police Force sealed the property after President Buhari decided against making the organization a part of the Federal Government.
