Popular South African media personality, Bonang Matheba is currently heading to London, where she will host the Global Gift Nelson Mandela Centenary Dinner, which will take place on Tuesday night at the Rosewood hotel.
Bonang, who also graced the same event as a special guest in 2017, along with popular American actress, Eva Longoria, posted a picture on her Instagram account, which showed her being seated in an Emirates flight to London, wearing a pair of gold Chanel shoes with the caption: “arm all doors and cross check…#passportgang #GGGMandela18”.
She said: “Celebrating Madiba on such a global scale fills my heart with so much joy. I am beyond honored to be part of an evening of hope. If my involvement can make even the smallest impact on the lives of others, I will consider it a success. Considering the work the Global Gift Gala has done to date, I’m certain this will be the case.”
