Nollywood actress Beverly Naya, has always stunned on the red carpets, events and even on her social media page but one would never imagine that the beautiful diva once thought she was nothing to write home about when it comes to good looks. Sharing a photo with her fans where by she revealed the emotional trauma she endured as a child and the experiences that shaped who she has become today. Her fans where truly moved and gave their heart felt comments. She said, “I’ve come a long way from the little girl who was bullied for having really bad eczema, crooked teeth, a ‘lightbulb head’ and ‘football legs’,” she said, adding, “I never thought I was beautiful as a child and once I hit my early teens, I found myself overcompensating for my lack of self esteem.”The actress noted that she became the version of herself she wanted only last year, when she said f*ck it! and decided to lead the no-nonsense lifestyle she had always yearned for. She continued, “I think I only truly found myself last year, I stopped trying to make people like me, stopped trying to force people to see the real me… I only realised last year that you can’t force people to like you, neither can you dumb down/change who you are to be accepted.” It is a known fact that people eventually get to a certain point in their lives, when they decide to live the versions of the lives they always wanted.
