Awed By The Demonstration From Everyone – D’banj Speaks On Son’s Death

Nigerian singer, D’banj says his family are ‘awed’ by the love and care they’ve received following the death of their son, Daniel, who passed away in June.

This is the first time D’banj will be addressing the public on the passing of his son, Daniel Oyebanjo, who died on Sunday, June 24, after he drowned at a pool in the singer’s residence in Ikoyi, aged 13-months. “Trying Times ??. But my God is Always and Forever Faithful,” wrote D’banj who was in Los Angeles for the 2018 BET Awards when the incident happened.

D’banj took to his Instagram page on Wednesday (July 4) to thank everyone for their support, writing: “We want to use this medium to thank everyone that has extended a hand of support to us during this period. On behalf of myself and my family, we are awed by the demonstration and love and care from both near and far. May God bless you all. From the Oyebanjo.”
