 A 30-year old Nigerian in Canada identified as Onoseta Oribhabor, has reportedly committed suicide. According to police, Oribhabor took his own life after killing his 27-year-old girlfriend whose name was given as Essozinam “Martine” Assali. Reports from police say they were called to a condo building on March 6 where they found Oribhabor dead on a balcony. 
Further search in the house led them to a woman who had several injuries on her. She was immediately treated but eventually died. Oribhabor is a graduate of Babcock University, Ogun State. He left for Canada after his education. The case was treated as a murder-suicide one and the 27-year-old Essozinam Assali listed as the city’s 10th homicide victim of the year.  Photo Credit: Getty
