Skales has dropped his highly-anticipated “Mr. Love” album.
The Baseline Music act dropped his new studio album after receiving blessings from his mentor and former record label boss, Banky W, at the album listening party that held at on Wednesday night, July 18, at the Hard Rock Cafe in Lagos. ”Skales is the definition of never say never, if there could be an award for most improved artist over time, then Skales would win”, says Banky W, who gave him his blessing on stage.
“Mr. Love” which is Skales‘ third studio album, features African music big names including Tiwa Savage, Cassper Nyovest, Phyno, Sarkodie, Vanessa Mdee, Aramide, Teni, Yung L, Endia, and Afrob, with production credits from Chopstix, Echo, Pimp, and T.U.C.
“Love stories told in different languages/styles by amazing artistes,” Skales disclosed on what to expect from the 16-track “Mr Love” studio album – a project attributed to mother, who’s on the cover of the album art.
