2Baba, Mo Abudu Visit Hollywood With Vice President Yemi Osinbajo!

Yemi Osinbajo visits Hollywood during his working visit to the United States.

The Vice President of Nigeria continued an interactive investment forum with institutions and individuals in Hollywood, in the company of singer 2Baba and media mogul, Mo Abudu.

Following the visit where they met with reps from Universal Studios, Warner Bros, 20th Century Fox, IMAX, Disney and a host of others, Osinbajo admitted he’s glad to have been at the forum with Nigerian stars and members of the Creative community.

Osinbajo’s entourage to Hollywood also included Terra Kulture founder, Bolanle Austen Peters; Managing Director of Nigeria Film Corporation, Dr. Chidia Maduekwe; and Executive Director of Nigerian Export Promotion Council, Segun Awolowo.

During the investment forum, Toyin Adeniji, Executive Director of Bank of Industry, disclosed their firm has committed $20m to more than 40 projects in the Nigerian film industry—in infrastructure, distribution, content development. “The Bank is ready to do, even more, having recently raised about $1bn,” he added.

“We want to promote cooperation between Nigerian & international players and attract investment to Nigeria. We will be discussing infrastructure, intellectual property protection,” said Dr. Dipeolu, Special Adviser to the President on Economic Matters.
