UEFA Champions League Review: Barcelona 3-1 Olympiacos

Barcelona extended their excellent start to the 2017-18 Champions League on Wednesday night with a 3-1 over Olympiacos at Camp Nou.
After missing a good number of chances, Barcelona scored their first goal of the match when Sergio Busquet squeezed a long-ball to Deulofeu, who was left to roam free in the right edge of the visitors half. The Spanish winger lowered the ball to find Messi’s feet, only for the Argentine’s shot to be deflected into the net by Dimitris Nikolaou, as his poor reaction sent the ball beyond his keeper’s reach to score the only goal of the first half.
Barcelona were reduced to 10 men in the first half when Gerard Pique received his matching orders for a hand ball in Barcelona’s 18-yard box. However, they made it 3-0 in the second half with goals from Lionel Messi and Lucas Digne between the 60th and the 64th minute.
Nikolaou salvaged a goal for the visitors in the 90th minute with a super jump between Andre Gomes and Paulinho.
