UEFA Appoints Luis Figo As Football Advisor

The elite European football governing council (UEFA) has appointed former Real Madrid winger, Luis Figo, as a football advisor. His role at the Organization will include technical planning and law formulation.
The veteran footballer started his amazing career in Sporting CP before moving to Barcelona, Real Madrid and Internazionale where he rounded up his 20-year career in 2009.

Figo expressed his joy and optimism on the new appointment saying “I believe i can have a positive influence in passing on my knowledge. I have learned so much from football that i am now looking forward to giving something back”.
UEFA President Alexsander Ceferin confirmed his appointment saying:”Luis Figo was a fantastic player who was exemplary in the way he conducted himself both on and off the pitch. His temendous football experience will be a valuable asset to UEFA”.
Figo will join former inter milan teammate Dejan Stankovic in the team of UEFA football advisors.
