A wonderful single, “Joromi” has being released by Talented songstress, Simi since her first single “Smile For Me”. Recall that a few days ago, the singer finally revealed that her self-titled debut album, Simisola, will be dropping next month. However, to get us more anticipated for the album’s upcoming release, Simi decided to steal our hearts with this brilliant tune. For the Oscar-produced track, Simi channels Sir Victor Uwaifo’s award-winning song of the same name; but unlike Sir Victor Uwaifo’s version of “Joromi”, which is a song about a love he has already earned, Simi’s “Joromi” is a plea to someone she loves who doesn’t seem to love her back. With “Joromi” Simi proves once again that no one in our music industry can write a love song quite as well as she can. It’s also extremely refreshing to see a young woman sing about pursuing a man she wants instead of waiting for him to come to her.
