This 90s trend has found a way into the fashion scene and fashionistas are taking it to the next level. Although it’s more common to denim than other types of fabrics but well pulled off. What you find easily in malls and boutique is the asymmetrical hemline of the pants which makes it more attractive and stylish than ever.
Dungarees are just one of the many 90’s trends that have crept back and have been widely accepted by all. Most avoid this trend because they feel it’s to be worn by tomboys only but really it is as versatile as versatility can get, you just have to be bold and creative enough to pull it off. 
They don’t have to end with the traditional pants, try out various styles from shorts to dresses and also various fabrics like denim, leather and a light weight fabric. Let’s look at how to wear dungarees without looking like a mechanic or electrician;
Casual look: Denim dungarees are probably the safest to wear especially if you are trying out this trend for the first time. They are your best bet when you are aiming for something casual, you can also try out other fabrics like leather. Pair your dungarees with a white tee shirt, crop top or a tank top; this gives you that casual look. Finish it with a pair of sandals, flats or sneakers.
Sophisticated look: Denim dungarees are not just for casual outings. Adding a tailored blazer to that denim with a pair of heels adds all the sophistication you need, this also applies to other fabrics. Your dungarees can be paired with a shirt or a crop top. Add pieces of jewellery to add glamour to your look.
Also the weather could determine when its worn. For example, when it’s cold one could throw a turtle neck top or sweater underneath and a head-tie. Colder?? You could throw a oversize vintage coat or neutral color coat on and a neck tie. When it’s warm you can go with an off shoulder top of any color that suits your skin tone. Finally, when the temperature is moderate you can either mix any of the three options or play with patterns. You can also do horizontal stripes, ribbed or cropped tops.
